Endlessfluff Games, developer behind Legend of Fae and Valdis Story: Abyssal City, announced on July 17 through publisher Humble Games the release date for their upcoming Fae Tactics. A modern iteration on a nostalgic genre, Fae Tactics is a lush pixel RPG with turn-based strategy and a complex cast. Endlessfluff Games describes their title with the following:
“In Fae Tactics, follow a young magic user named Peony on her journey across a vibrant world full of mystery and danger. Summon allies, cast spells, and befriend a motley crew of characters as you dive into the growing conflicts between man and magical beings known as fae.”
The tactical gameplay promises zero menus in a seamless experience unusual for the genre. The fae beings you encounter can be battled, collected, and leveled up–gather your allies and a fistful of spells and the world is your oyster. Fae Tactics launches for PC on July 31.
