July 29 Release Date Announced for An Interesting Journey of Monsieur PAF

Who says archaeologists need more brain matter than muscle? Not France-based studio Ernestine, and after seeing An Interesting Journey of Monsieur PAF in action, we wholeheartedly agree. The strapping Monsieur PAF is the star of Ernestine’s isometric, temple-traipsing adventure, announced on June 26 to be headed for a July 29 launch. The puzzler is described with the following:

“An Interesting Journey of Monsieur PAF is a platform / isometric puzzle game. Sharing similar mechanics with the Sokoban, Monsieur PAF attempts to revisit the genre using 3D verticality in magnificent homemade, two-dimensional environments.”

Monsieur PAF is a muscle-bound archaeologist trapped in a temple left by a long-ruined civilization. There’s no threat of death in An Interesting Journey of Monsieur PAF–it’s just the player and the puzzles at hand. Wield Monsieur PAF’s muscles to solve intricate platforming challenges in a crumbling world. An Interesting Journey of Monsieur PAF releases for PC on July 29.
