Five years after its original reveal, BELOW‘s release date has finally been announced — and it’s strikingly soon. On December 14, prepare to descend into a dark world swirling with mystery, monsters, and punishment in BELOW, releasing for Xbox One and Steam next Friday. Toronto-based Capybara Games announced the news on Twitter with the following on December 5:

While the title was most recently slated for a 2018 release, the end of 2018 had been drawing ever nearer, and we couldn’t be more pleased to see BELOW indeed enjoying its promised launch date. BELOW is self-described as “a procedural terrarium filled with life, mystery and death” — surely a suitably introspective and challenging title to get lost in this winter.
