Relentlessly praised as one of the best stealth games in the entire genre, Klei Entertainment’s Mark of the Ninja returns remastered for 2018. Originally released for the Xbox 360 (yes, that long ago) in 2012, Mark of the Ninja was hailed as a massive achievement from studio Klei Entertainment, now also widely known for its tremendously successful Don’t Starve series. The September 25 Steam announcement states:
“In Mark of the Ninja Remastered, you’ll know what it is to truly be a ninja. You must be silent, agile & clever to outwit your opponents in a world of gorgeous scenery and flowing animation. Marked with cursed tattoos giving you heightened senses, every situation presents you with options. Now beautifully updated to 4K, with a full audio remaster, & all special edition content included.”
If you already own the base title, upgrading will cost you a smaller fee than purchasing it for the first time, and if you own the base game plus the DLC, you’ll get the remastered edition with all its extra goodies for free. Look for Mark of the Ninja Remastered come October 9 on Steam, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
