The mind-bending and much-anticipated The Gardens Between finally launches in just a few short days. Having already received numerous nods of approval from esteemed sources, The Gardens Between looks to be poised to enjoy a positive reception from all sides come September 20. Developed and published by The Voxel Agents, The Gardens Between calls itself a “surreal adventure through moments in time,” providing an ethereal and thoughtful look at the bittersweet nature of friendship. Says the title’s Steam page of the storyline:
“Best friends Arina and Frendt fall into a series of vibrant, dreamlike island gardens peppered with everyday objects from their childhood. Together they embark on an emotional journey that examines the significance of their friendship.”
Gameplay consists of manipulating the fabric of time in order to solve puzzles. Do so in a world of astounding visuals, backed by a soundtrack given life by featured artist Tim Shiel. The Gardens Between will release on Steam, Switch, and PS4 on September 20, providing a contemplative experience that uniquely heralds the oncoming season of fall.
