IT’S ALIVE. And kicking. And with a few punches thrown in for good measure. In 2019, studio 2D OS (then named Studio 2dOs) was in progress on a butt-kicking good time called Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor. Since then, however, the meditative silence around the project has swelled to bursting–until March 26, when our favorite janitor swept himself into ID@Xbox’s Twitch Gaming showcase. It was just a snippet, but what wasn’t shown then can now be seen in a fresh new trailer. Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor is described with the following:
“Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor is a light hearted, high flying, fighting, action adventure. Our hero, Corbo, is a bit past his prime and in dire straits. Will players be able to help mend strained ties while earning the trust back from his masters?”
Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor follows Corbo, an elderly janitor with a mean left hook. There’s still very little information out about the game, implying that a release may be a long way off. Regardless, what’s remained consistent over the years of development seems to be the gorgeous original aesthetic and comedic demeanor. The heart of Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor has survived, and a butt-kicking good time is doubtless still in the works. Iron Corbo: Kung Fu Janitor is now slated for, at the very least, an Xbox release.
