Limited-Time Beta Opening for Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy

Snag your seat while there are seats to be snagged! Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is looking to absorb player feedback from a two-week period of beta testing before the summer ends. Unexplored 2 is in development by Netherlands-based Ludomotion, the studio also responsible for the first entry in the series, 2017’s Unexplored. Its successor is summarized thus:

“Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is a roguelite action-RPG and prodigious sequel to the critically acclaimed indie gem, Unexplored. Leave the Dungeon of Doom behind and venture into a vast, wondrous world as you embark on a heroic quest to destroy the mysterious Staff of Yendor.”

Unexplored 2‘s vast system of procedural generation is its primary draw–a draw that’s beginning to gather black-hole levels of strength. An adaptive soundtrack accompanies the worlds falling into place just ahead of your footsteps, further customizing each hour of play. Ludomotion has noted that they’re unable to feature Unexplored 2 at gaming events this year, thus their decision to open beta testing to collect authentic feedback. Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is slated for a 2021 release on PC.
