A Kickstarter sprout in January of 2019. An early-access sapling in June. Now, in August of 2020, Littlewood is a towering example of a smart delivery on a strong promise. Florida-based solo developer Sean Young has been inching Littlewood toward completion, update by update, for more than a year. His dedication and keen ear for feedback has culminated in a product in high demand by an already-smitten community. Young describes his project with the following:
“The world has already been saved. Now it’s time to rebuild your town, learn new hobbies, and forge lifelong friendships in this peaceful and relaxing RPG.”
Pruned to near perfection, Littlewood now features everything from crafting and farming to trading and exploring. While most stories would see you saving a world destined for doom and destruction, Littlewood casts this tired narrative aside in favor of something unexpected: In Littlewood, your job is to rebuild the world that was saved. Littlewood is out now for PC.
