Packages may come and go, but the stories they hide in their tightly wrapped confines linger forever. Studio ION LANDS announced on March 5 the precise date upon which we can expect to see Cloudpunk delivered: April 23. Itself a metropolis package shielding unsavory secrets, Cloudpunk is a narrative-focused exploration title concerned with the underbelly of a futuristic city. ION LANDS explains the game thus:
“A neon-noir story in a rain-drenched cyberpunk metropolis. It’s your first night on the job working for the Cloudpunk delivery service. Two rules: Don’t miss a delivery and don’t ask what’s in the package.”
You are Rania, and you work for Cloudpunk, a sky courier that is…mostly…legitimate. Brave the city of Nivalis in your airborne vehicle, performing deliveries and interacting with a wide variety of characters–some human, some not. Cloudpunk releases on April 23 for PC, and looks to launch on consoles later this year.
