E3–normally a mecca for earth-shattering Triple-A titles alone–shone this year with a handful of indie teases destined for greatness. Among these was the scintillating Cris Tales, currently in development by studios Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK. Cris Tales promises a JRPG-inspired journey with turn-based combat, time-traveling intrigue, and soul-crushingly beautiful 2D art. Cris Tales describes itself with the following:
