At long last Gato Roboto has pounced with its finalized release date — and it’s just a twitch of the whiskers away. Oregon-based doinksoft‘s feline feature Gato Roboto releases on Steam and Switch come May 30. This love letter to black-and-white gaming of yore whisks players to an underground labyrinth where danger creeps and squeaks around every corner. Gato Roboto describes itself with the following:
“Pounce inside of your cozy armored mech and set off on a dangerous trek through an alien underworld full of irritable creatures and treacherous obstacles in a valiant effort to save your stranded captain and his crashed spaceship.”
Sass, style, and good ol’ alien-smashing action is promised in this pixel charmer as you play Kiki, a space captain’s indefatigably chipper kitty. Don a deadly mech suit or skitter through claustrophobic tunnels in order to save your incapable captain. Kiki’s adventure awaits feline-friendly players on May 30.
