Upcoming Gibbous – A Cthulhu Adventure Is a Chthonic Comedy

Yes, we did have to look up “cthonic” to make that title work. And work it does, for Transylvanian studio Stuck In Attic‘s Gibbous – A Cthulhu Adventure is a cosmic romp featuring cults, kitties, and comedy. Inspired by classic RPGs of yore and H.P. Lovecraft’s infamous creations, this title takes the macabre Cthulhu lore and weaves it into a story flush with humor and intrigue. Gibbous – A Cthulhu Adventure describes itself thus:

“Crazy cultists. Cthulhu. A talking cat. Gibbous takes you on an expansive, traditionally animated, hand-painted adventure. Play as three protagonists and explore a lushly rendered Lovecraft-inspired world, unraveling ancient conspiracies. A comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania!”

Fully voiced and boasting “the most genuine Transylvanian accent in games and media, like, ever,” this Cthulhu tale is more than just a modern copycat. Stuck In Attic promises a rich, hand-painted world, point-and-click gameplay, and, most importantly, an angry talking cat named Kitteh. The Steam release date brightly states “Soon!”, but the jury is still out on whether “soon” means by the end of summer, by the end of the year, or by the end of the decade.
