Madrid-based Crema‘s Temtem dares to tread where other creature-collecting games fear to step foot: into the murky waters of massively multiplayer gameplay. Armed with the tantalizing promise of online play, Temtem drew an impressive following with its 2018 Kickstarter campaign, easily surpassing the initial goal by more than a cool half a million dollars. Now, for 2020, Temtem is taking the next big step, opening its doors to Early Access players in just a few short weeks. Temtem summarizes itself with the following:
“Temtem is a massively multiplayer creature-collection adventure inspired by Pokemon. Seek adventure in the lovely Airborne Archipelago alongside your Temtem squad. Catch every Temtem, battle other tamers, customize your house, join a friend’s adventure or explore the dynamic online world.”
Six different areas in the Airborne Archipelago have been confirmed for Temtem‘s Early Access launch, along with a fully developed campaign and tasty character customization. Temtem releases on PC in Early Access on January 21.
